Therapist, Contract/Part-time employment status is W-9/1099 between 12-29 hours per week.

Responsibilities of Therapist:

  • Rendering evidence–based therapeutic treatment to patients
  • Providing an array of mental health services to promote individualized patient recovery primarily through tele-health video or telephone
  • Conducting intakes, individual, group, and family therapy when applicable
  • Providing mental health assessments, counseling, referrals, and intervention services
  • Completing and maintaining documentation in a timely and accurate manner and according to Federal, State and company guidelines

Qualifications of a Therapist:

Required:

  • LICSW and/or LMHC or LMFT and/or state equivalent of independent license.
  • 1 year of demonstrated psychotherapy experience using evidence-based treatment
  • 1 year of experience with documenting and treatment planning within an EMR
  • Access to a computer, webcam, reliable internet connection and private, quiet space for sessions

Preferred:

  • Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese
  • Two years of experience providing clinical supervision (for those interested in a supervisory role)
  • Prior tele-health or remote experience
  • Reliable self-starter who is able to work independently and also as part of a team
  • Strong engagement and assessment skills to work with a diverse range of patients

Fair work deserves fair wages, we at Valera support wage-transparency and value this role at between $35-$60 depending on completed visits.
