The Role

We're seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to join our product team. You'll work closely with our designers, backend engineers, and product managers to create intuitive, high-performance web applications that serve healthcare professionals and patients alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive, scalable frontend solutions using modern React and JavaScript
• Create reusable component libraries and maintain consistent UI/UX patterns
• Interface with RESTful APIs and backend services to integrate data flows
• Optimize application performance and loading times
• Collaborate with backend teams to define and consume APIs
• Implement and maintain HIPAA-compliant frontend security practices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong understanding of state management (Redux, Context API, etc.)
• Experience with modern frontend build tools and workflows (Webpack, Babel, etc.)
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data flows
• Strong understanding of browser performance and optimization techniques
• Version control with Git
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with healthcare data or PHI
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements
• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and WCAG guidelines
• Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js)
• Experience with real-time data updates and WebSocket integration
• Background in healthcare technology or medical software
