Compensation: $150K - $180K Base + Commission + Equity + 401K Match

About this role

As the Founding Sales Leader, this person will be responsible for leading and coaching the sales team, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with stakeholders across ReflexAI including cofounders, product marketing, customer success, and product to align sales operations with the company's goals and objectives. As the team prepares for further scale, you will also take on direct sales responsibilities for part of the portfolio. This role requires a hands-on leader who is energized by the enormous potential for ReflexAI tools across sectors and has experience with expansion from a successful early stage to growth stage.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals across priority segments.
  • Drive new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and develop strategies to increase customer acquisition and retention.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team. Set clear objectives and provide ongoing coaching to ensure team success.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Oversee sales operations, implementing tools and best practices for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting to provide insights across stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring effective use of resources to achieve objectives with clear ROI metrics.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Other tasks, duties, or special projects as assigned.

Requirements for a great fit

  • Significant sales experience with SaaS (typically 8+ years) with demonstrated success in driving sales growth, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and leading a sales team.
  • Proven experience (typically 4+years) in a sales leadership role, preferably within an early stage startup that has transitioned to growth stage.
  • Builder mindset and proven experience in developing and refining sales playbooks for new or emerging products.
  • Experience in selling to an industry connected to ReflexAI is preferred, such as healthcare, mental health, and/or contact centers. Particular experience with AI tools is beneficial.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a sales team.
  • Proficiency in sales analytics and CRM software. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, partners, and team members.
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Open-mindedness, as evident by your willingness to consider other perspectives, adjust your viewpoint in light of new information, and maintain a constant desire to learn.
