About this role

As ReflexAI’s quality assurance engineer, you'll act as a crucial link, ensuring that our products are not only reliable and scalable but also of the highest quality. Your responsibilities will include introducing robust quality assurance practices, performing detailed software testing, and ensuring our services are secure, bug-free, and pixel-perfect. While automating testing will be a significant part of your role, the ability to roll up your sleeves and pitch in with manual testing is also essential. Our team uses Typescript, with NextJS framework on the front-end and NestJS on the back-end. We use Playwright for automated end-to-end testing, and Locust for load testing. What you'll do
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand requirements, functionality, and performance expectations
  • Lead the creation, modification, and execution of detailed software test plans, automated scripts, and programs for testing
  • Perform hands-on front-end, back-end, and UI testing to ensure our services are pixel-perfect, secure, and bug-free
  • Conduct hands-on testing across various devices, operating systems, and browsers
  • Expand our testing automation with Playwright to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to identify, reproduce and document bugs or defects
  • Validate bugs reported by customers through support tickets
Requirements for a great fit
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across modalities including written materials and live interactions
  • Open mindedness as demonstrated by ability to consider other perspectives, change an opinion in the face of new data, and constant desire to learn
  • Significant experience (typically 3+ years) testing SaaS applications using both automated and manual methods
  • Compensation ranges are for Latin America-based team members. Stock options are offered in addition to cash compensation.
