About the Role
As the Market Director for West Chester, you will:
- Create and execute on the strategy for launching and operating a successful new clinic and market for Blackbird in West Chester, PA
- Own and deliver on key revenue targets for the clinic and market (ie own profit and loss statement for this region of Blackbird’s business)
- Oversee the day to day clinical operations of Blackbird’s new clinic in Westchester, PA
- Meet with pediatric practices and physicians locally to develop relationships for patient referrals and create awareness of Blackbird’s services in the market, in collaboration with Blackbird’s marketing team
- Identify opportunities to grow the broader market (ie partnering with local schools to drive patient demand or launching new clinics in nearby areas where there is identified in person need)
- Recruit and hire a team of clinicians to work in the clinic during core patient hours, In partnership with Blackbird’s talent team.
- Supervise therapists’ and medical professionals clinical care to ensure Blackbird quality standards are met or exceeded
- Ensure therapists are meeting productivity and caseload standards by supporting their ability to build, manage and maintain their schedules
- Provide training of new therapists’ on job responsibilities, workflow, clinical policies, clinical model, and documentation standards
- Monitor and provide ongoing education therapists and medical professionals’ as needed
- Address patient and family concerns as needed, including direct outreach to patients and families and coaching of clinicians as necessary
- Partner with Human Resources to document and address any clinician-specific performance issues
- Attain goals as outlined in the company and individual annual objective and key results (OKR) document
About You
You will be a great fit for our team and the role if you have:
- Experience building a practice/clinic from the ground up or scaling an existing clinic to meet and exceed revenue goals, as an owner, clinical director or executive
- Leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team effectively
- Strong relationship management skills - you can meet with the practices and physicians locally to build relationships, describe our model, support requests, and provide excellent care to kids
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions, early identification, and best practices
- Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity to the needs of diverse populations
- Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to data-driven decision-making
- Strong communication, advocacy, and public speaking skills
- Knowledge of computer-based data management programs, information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology
- Schedule flexibility to work some evenings and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adjust to a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including clinical and leadership teams
- Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements for master level clinicians
- Must value operating in a collaborative and cooperative environment
Qualifications
- Hold at least a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
- Hold VA license to practice psychotherapy, which includes maintaining all necessary continuing education requirements
- 3 years' experience as a licensed therapist
- Ability to supervise pre-licensed therapists working towards licensure.
- Maintain all current licensure required to perform the job
- Complete trainings recommended as per the individual development plan (IDP)
- Attain goals as outlined in the company and individual annual objective and key results (OKR) document
- Live within 30 minutes from the clinic location in West Chester, PA and be on-site a minimum of 3 days per week
*The target range for this position is $90,000 - $180,000. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors, including licensure, experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
